Project Brief: utilizing creative freedom, create a message that could be shown to the world. Design must remain solely black. Red shapes are provided and must be used creatively without moving them. Within the design, you must demonstrate use of a photograph, an artful use of halftones, letterpress printed type, and some type of hand drawn element. Purpose Behind Poster: Considering the creative freedom involved with this project, my poster is focused on Narcolepsy, something I'm passionate about because it's part of my life. People often don't realize how it’s different from other sleep disorders and that you aren’t just lazy or they think you just have a poor lifestyle. There IS something medically damaged neurologically, and it’s something people should educate themselves on more. As someone who lives with Narcolepsy, I’ve come to realize it’s important to talk about the things that no one talks about. THIS is why Narcolepsy was the focus of my poster.
